At Beebout Veterinary Medical Center, we are proud to have a team of passionate and skilled veterinarians dedicated to providing the best care for your pets. Allow us to introduce you to Dr. Brandon Beebout, Dr. Paola Beebout and Dr. Maria Beck.
Brandon W Beebout, DVM
Dr. Brandon grew up in Ainsworth, NE and attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Ross University School of Medicine and LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed an internship at Pet Emergency Specialty Center in San Diego, CA in Emergency and Specialty Medicine. He worked in Denver, CO for two years before settling down in Kearney, NE at Hilltop Pet Clinic.
Dr. Brandon wanted to be a veterinarian since he was seven years old! After working with Dr. Neil there, he would eventually have the opportunity to continue a well established practice. He greatly values the impact he can make on pets, their owners, and the community. He enjoys internal medicine and orthopedics and getting animals back to their family members happy and healthy!
Dr. Brandon appreciates continuing relationships with his clients and their pets. He loves time spent with his family, three dogs, four cats and golfing when he can get out to the golf course!
Paola Beebout, DVM
Originally from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Dr. Pao Beebout developed a passion for animals early on, inspired by her father, who introduced her to the animal kingdom as it was always a passion of his. Growing up, she had a variety of pets, including dogs and a cockatoo named Paco.
After high school, Dr. Pao Beebout attended Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, where she majored in Animal Science. She graduated in 2010 and went on to pursue her veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, where she met Dr. Brandon Beebout, beginning their journey together that eventually led to Nebraska. Upon completing her studies at Ross University, she finished her clinical training at Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, earning her DVM in June 2014. Dr. Pao Beebout moved to San Diego for one year and before settling in Kearney, she spent two years practicing in Denver from 2015 to 2017.
Dr. Pao Beebout has a wide range of interests in veterinary medicine, including soft tissue surgery, tackling complex internal medicine cases, building lasting relationships with clients, and, of course, caring for puppies and kittens! Outside of work, Dr. Pao Beebout loves spending time with her family, hiking scenic trails with all of her dogs, attending sporting events, enjoying live music, savoring a good beer, and visiting her home island of Puerto Rico.
Maria Beck, DVM
Dr. Maria Beck, a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, has been an associate Veterinarian at BVMC for 10 years. She is also employed at Ravenna Vet Center where she helps both small and large animals. Dr. Beck enjoys using her skills and experience to ensure that all the patients she sees are happy and healthy. She enjoys foreign body surgeries and has removed everything from drinking straws to bladder stones from her patients. She enjoys soft tissue surgery and loves to assist owners to be the best advocate for their pet they can possibly be.
Dr. Beck has been the Veterinarian to examine the pets for the cat and dog show at the Buffalo County Fair for several years. She also volunteers at the Nebraska State Fair in the Birthing Pavilion. She enjoys teaching fairgoers about the birthing process and food animal industries. As a mixed animal practitioner, she has a unique understanding of both large animal and small animal care.
Susan
Susan is a Customer Service Representative at our BVMC location and has been with us since 2001. She has four dogs and a Golden Retriever named Roger after Dr. Roger Neil! Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the clients and the relationships she has built throughout the years.
Adrienne
Adrienne is a Customer Service Representative and has been with us since 2023. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping the clients and their pets have a great experience and making the experience less stressful! She has two dogs, a three year old rescue named Layla and a seven month old rescue named Poppy. She likes spending time with her dogs and niece. She also enjoys gardening, yard work, working out, reading and knitting.
Ros
Ros is our Practice Manager and has been with us for over two years. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is getting to know the clients pets. She has a toy Poodle named Java and a Shih-poo (Shih Tzu/Poodle) named Cappuccino but they call her Cappy! She enjoys spending time with her grandson!
Valarie
Valarie is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She first started with us in 2006 and left in 2015. She came back in 2018! She enjoys c-sections, puppies and kittens! Valarie has two dogs, three cats and cows. She loves spending time with her family, hunting and being outdoors.
Kallie
Kallie is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and has been with us since 2019. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping the veterinarian diagnose the issues. She has 3 dogs (Gilda, Myran, and Harold), a bearded dragon, a gecko, ducks, and chickens. Kallie enjoys spending time with friends and family and going on long walks with her dogs.
Serenity
Serenity is a Kennel Technician at BVMC and has been with us since February of 2024. She enjoys being able to help sick animals. She has a Pitbull, two cats and a bearded dragon and likes to paint and hangout with her friends and family.
Katrina
Katrina is a Licensed Veterinary Technician at BVMC and has been with us since October of 2025. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping animals live better lives! She has two dogs and three cats and enjoys to read.
Loree
Loree is a Customer Service Representative at our BVMC location and has been with us since May of 2025. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping pet owners learn more about pet care and how to best care for their pet and seeing the bond owners have with their animals. Loree has three dogs and one cat and enjoys spending time with her animals and family and crocheting in her free time.
Haley
Haley is a receptionist at our BVMC location and has been with us since September of 2025. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is seeing the different animals come into the clinic and the care they receive from us. She has a Golden Retriever, German Shepard mix, and a cat and enjoys watching Husker football/volleyball and playing recreational volleyball & softball.
Anne
Mia
Mia is a Veterinary Assistant at our BVMC location and has been with us since February of 2023. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is seeing the great outcomes when dogs come in really sick and being able to get them home happier and healthier. Mia has two Golden Retrievers named Finn and Benji and a Labrador named Gus. She is on the UNK Women’s soccer team and loves spending time with her teammates and playing soccer. She also likes spending time with her family and going to the lake.
Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn is our Pharmacy Technician. She loves getting to connect with others through the love of animals! She has two dogs and two cats. She enjoys baking.
Christina
Christina is a Customer Service Representative. She has been with us since 2021. Her favorite part of her job is assuring the client their pet is being well taken care of. Christina currently has three dogs but has had all kinds of pets! She enjoys being a mom, spending time with family and being outdoors!
Joclyn
Joclyn has been with us since March of 2023. She is a Hospital Supervisor and loves to advocate for all the pets that have no voice. She has two dogs, Smokey and Midgy; two cats, Zuko and Hei Bai; a rabbit named Hugh; and a fish tank full of fun friends! Outside of work, Joclyn enjoys spending time with her friends and animals.
Kati
Kati is BVMC’s dog trainer and Hospital Supervisor and has been with us since January of 2024. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is watching the puppies grow up and come to the clinic! Kati has three dogs and enjoys training them and hanging out with friends outside of work.
Kay
Kay is a Veterinary Assistant and has been with us since January of 2025. She enjoys being able to help animals in need and make a difference in their lives. She has a corgi named Chewy, a cat named Gizmo, a bearded dragon named Aros, two leopard geckos named Finn and Doc, and a Mexican Red Knee tarantula named Kumo. Kay likes to crochet, play video games and be outside.
Silvia
Silvia is the jack of all trades at our clinic. She has been with us since 2009 and loves assisting Dr. Brandon during orthopedic surgeries. Silvia has four dogs and two cats and enjoys shopping!
Sawyer
Sawyer is a Veterinary Technician at BVMC since 2020. She enjoys assisting in difficult cases knowing she had a part in their recovery. Sawyer has two Australian Shepherds and enjoys going home and helping on the family farm.
Charlotte
Charlotte has been a Veterinary Assistant at BVMC since November of 2024. She loves how everyday is different. Charlotte has two dogs and enjoys going on walks and hanging out with family and friends.
Brandon
Brandon is our Administrative Support. He has been with us since 2024 and enjoys being around animals. When Brandon is not at work , he enjoys golf, playing the guitar, and working out.
Gabriella
Gabriella is a Veterinary Assistant and has been with us since 2024. She enjoys creating relationships with the clients and patients. She has three cats and three dogs and likes to read and play video games.
Jessica
Jessica is a Veterinarian Technician since 2024. She enjoys caring for animals and having a direct impact on a chance for a thriving life. She has a Great Dane named Abram and a cat named Cow. She enjoys overlanding through mountains with her husband and dog.
Breanna
Breanna is a Veterinary Technician and has been with us since 2024. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is watching patients recover from difficult cases. She also enjoy puppies and kittens. Breanna has three cats named Tiger, Daisy, and Dally and enjoys going to the lake and traveling.
Jann
Jann is a consultant at our Happy Tails Pet Lodge and Hilltop Pet locations. She has been with us since December of 2024. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is seeing the transformation from the time the dogs come until they go home! She has two dogs, two cats, five goats and fifteen chickens! Jann enjoys gardening and refinishing wood furniture.

Ava
Ava is a Kennel Assistant at our Happy Tails Pet Lodge location since June of 2025. She has a Bernedoodle named Murphy and enjoys riding horses, acting and singing in the KHS theater program.
Rachel
Rachel is our dog and cat bather at our Happy Tails Pet Lodge location and has been with us since September of 2025. She loves animals and has cats of her own and enjoys being with her family.
Tiffany
Tiffany is our Customer Service Representative at our Happy Tails Pet Lodge location and has been with us since August of 2025. She loves working with animals and spending time with her family.
Ashley
Ashley is our evening kennel supervisor and has been with us since January of 2025. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is seeing all the different types of breeds and being able to care for them. She has a Pitbull named Azul and enjoys hanging out with friends and watching horror movies.
Gavin
Marley
Marley is a Kennel Assistant at our Happy Tails Pet Lodge location and has been with us since August of 2025. She enjoys meeting all the new dogs everyday and has a dog and a cat of her own. She enjoys listening to music and going on walks.
Jason
Kendyl
Kendyl is a Morning Supervisor and has been with us since March of 2024. She has a chocolate lab and a cat. Kendyl enjoys exploring the outdoors and hunting birds with her dog.
Leeann
Leeann has been with BVMC since August of 2024 and is a Kennel Assistant. She enjoys caring for the animals. Leeann has a dog and a cat and enjoys hiking outside of work.
Walt
Walt is our groomer at Happy Tails Pet Lodge and has been with us since 2009. He started working with Dr. Neil when he was in his 20’s. He loves everything about grooming pets. He enjoys playing tennis and likes computers.
Kacee
Kacee is our Kennel Attendant at our Hilltop Pet Location since June of 2025. She has a Maine Coon named Alice Jane and a Black Labrador named Milo. Kacee enjoys spending time with her daughter and friends.
David
David is our Kennel Manager at our Happy Tails Pet Lodge and Hilltop Pet locations. He has been with us for over three years! He enjoys the healing aspect of veterinary medicine and seeing injured animals being healed. David enjoys being out in the sun and is loves staying fit and working out. David loves movies and has seen almost every movie out there! He has two cats named Flint and Mimi.
Ruby
Ruby is a Customer Service Representative with us since 2024. She loves getting to meet and help new patients. Ruby has a kitty named Jora and enjoys cooking and crocheting.
Melanie
Melanie is our Kennel Staff since June of 2024. She enjoys the animal-human bond and seeing how the relationship enriches each life. She loves the bond she has created with the daycare dogs. She has an English Bulldog and a Welsh Corgi. She is currently in graduate school at UNK and enjoys hanging with friends and spending time with her dogs.
Margaret
Margaret is our social media director and has been with us since 2024. She loves being a mom and has lots of animals!
Everett
Everett is our Maintenance Technician and has been with BVMC since 2020. He has a cat and enjoys fishing when he is not working.
Lisa
Lisa is our Organizational Cheerleader and has been with BVMC since 2021. She has two adopted dogs named Dunny and Bosco. Lisa enjoys volunteer activities and artist endeavors.
Olivia
Olivia is our Administrative Specialist. She has been with us since January of 2024. She enjoys being a full time mom outside of work!
