Exotic Animal Care

Beebout Veterinary Medical Center is one of the few veterinary centers in central Nebraska with experience in caring for small exotic animals including a variety of birds, rodents, rabbits, and reptiles! Exotic pets are fascinating animals that can enrich our lives and broaden our understanding of the animal kingdom and the world we live in. To properly care for exotic animals we need a thorough understanding of their natural behavior, environment and diet.

Our veterinarians and staff are skilled and knowledgeable in the care and husbandry of these special creatures.

Alternative Medicine

Is your pet in need of some extra help to alleviate pain or recover from an injury? Our alternative medicine options can help! Our PRP (platelet rich plasma) and BMAC (bone marrow) therapies are regenerative treatments that can improve healing and reduce inflammation, while also helping to increase mobility and reduce pain.

PRP (platelet rich plasma)
PRP therapy involves using your pet’s own blood, which is processed to create a highly concentrated platelet-rich plasma. This plasma is then injected back into the pet’s body to help promote healing and regeneration.

BMAC (bone marrow)
Similarly, BMAC therapy uses your pet’s own bone marrow to create a concentrated mixture of cells that can help repair and regenerate tissue.

Regenerative medicine for joints, fractures, etc
Regenerative medicine, on the other hand, is a more general term that refers to a range of cutting-edge treatments aimed at repairing and restoring damaged tissue. Whether your pet is suffering from joint pain, a fracture, or another type of injury, regenerative medicine can help promote healing and reduce pain and inflammation.

At Beebout Veterinary Medical Center, we believe in taking a holistic approach to your pet’s health, and that includes exploring alternative medicine options like PRP, BMAC, and regenerative medicine.
